Anyone interested in the failed War on Drugs and the repercussions of that failure will likely enjoy and be encouraged by this stirring 2011 documentary, recently released in English for the first time.

The film, narrated by Morgan Freeman and featuring interviews with Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, as well as other international leaders, covers the history of the War on Drugs from both a domestic and international perspective dating back to 1961.

While not focused on medical marijuana, this film marks another important step in our progress toward a more rational approach to marijuana and other drugs.
